Today is the BIG day for bloggers and as I am still fresh in blogging, it will be an honor for me to be part of this worldwide initiative.
The topic is quite intriguing as well, because climate change from myth has become reality. Just a look around is enough to notice that things are not what they used to be and this change is not in a good way. If the trend is to continue, this will mean devastating events in the near future. We all, as a community, do not have the luxury of looking away from the problem, because our children will be those, that will suffer.
There are some simple things that one can do in order to help improve things and they are simple indeed:
- Recycle – the best way to conserve resources is reuse
- Cycle – “Superior form of solidarity – cyclist waiting in the traffic”. Just a small example – I first bought a car and just after an year of driving I was so fed up with this, that I bought a bicycle. It’s definitely more fun.
- Switch off electrical equipment when you don’t use it – just find an article on electrical vampires
- Use green energy – this is a bit difficult as a lot of stuff is still not in mass production. Still there are some things that are available. How cooler can it be that to capture energy on your own.
My best advice – find a nice blog on this topic and teach yourself to be environmental friendly. I personally enjoy GreenTech-BG, which is in Bulgarian.
